Full time internship for 6 monts under a "convention de stage"


Key Responsibilities for our IT Support Assistant (Technicien Support Informatique - stage):
•To provide technical support for all Standard Chartered business products.
•To assist managing OSVs (Outsourced Vendors) including on site support engineers who are responsible for the ongoing support of the Standard Chartered businesses to ensure a secure, stable and highly resilient environment.
•To create and present written and verbal proposals to IT and business resources to ensure all work-undertaken meets budgeted costs and Group Standards.
•To assist in new implementations or upgrades to existing systems, including, tracking and reporting.
•To assist in the implementation of global strategies and standards in all Standard Chartered locations including ensuring risk / compliance and security / build standards are followed.
•Be aware of and assist with Risk Management control, KCS (Key Control Standards), SIP (Service Improvement Program) initiatives and reporting, including Technical audit compliance.
•Problem and change management – to assist with and manage outstanding problem\change management, call logging, call trends, call reporting including high severity problem control.
•Establish cooperative relationships with business and co-ordinate with other Technical System Support /Country System Support/FMIS (Financial markets infrastructure services) areas in other countries to ensure efficient implementation of regional and global projects
•To assist in the support of the local network initiatives, local environment installations/maintenance, and help ensure day-to-day BAU (Busine As Usual) for users.
•Technology environment on-boarding; to set up/installation of software and hardware for users/new users.
•Assist with Security vulnerability management – Application of patches
•Protectors of the local environment, including responsibility to ensure safe and tidy IT installations and cabling, local regulatory compliance, health and safety adherence
•To prioritise resources to ensure production problems are dealt with according to severity and urgency to minimise impact

Profil recherché

Technical Must Have for an IT Support Assistant (Technicien Support Informatique - Stage)
•An understanding of IT functions
•Knowledge of Windows 7/10 operating systems, Microsoft Office, Java and Internet explorer. TCP/IP network environments (Local and Wide Area), PC Hardware and awareness of IT security, Antivirus, malware etc.
•Knowledge of technologies and industry trends in relation to business requirements, and the direction of the Group

Non Technical Must Have for an IT Support Assistant (Technicien Support Informatique - Stage)
•English language proficiency
•Interpersonal skills
•Customer Service/Service Management skills
•Ability to work effectively as part of global team
•Good communications skills
•Troubleshooting/problem assessment skills
•Must be able to prioritise tasks
•Must be flexible in terms of tasks

•Hands on and pro-active mindset

Non Technical Nice to Have for an IT Support Assistant (Technicien Support Informatique - Stage)
•An interest in self-development through IT training in areas used by the business
•MCP in windows 7/10
•Knowledge of telephony systems, Cisco, Intercom, PABX, iPhone, Skype, and Dealerboards is useful but not essential
