Rail Europe is the official distributor representing all the European railways and networks.

We are looking for an individual to join our ecommerce Department as a Web master. The qualified candidate will ensure the websites managed by our team are up-to-date and accurate in terms of the product and functionality setup. The candidate will be located in Paris, France and will report to the Sr. Director, Production (based in White Plains USA).

1) Manage the content & features of the transactional sections of the website on all the B2C and B2B assets

Create and maintain product information by inputting details into the content/product information management system
Coordinate with Content Manager to ensure the latest product changes implemented on the web sites
Arrange and make various updates in the web site back office to ensure functionality of each individual site by updating parameters and labels as required
Conduct weekly exchange rate updates and validating updated prices Other tasks as assigned

2) Web Support tickets follow up

Follow up with resources to retrieve required information in a timely fashion
Work closely with customers, travel agencies and inter-departmentally

3) Support helpdesk inquiries regarding the web site inquires, troubleshoot website issuesWeb Projects involvement

Define the business requirements
Coordinate the development with IT department
Testing phases and non-regression - Move to production

Profil recherché

Some college in Marketing, Business Admin, Travel and Tourism or other related studies
2 years experience in a similar professional environment, experienced in project management/coordination in ecommerce or online media/publishing.
Basic understanding of internet technology, web design and usability, media space, search engines, online advertising and related business models.
Capability to work in a multicultural environment.
Capacity to analyze and go into details of issues encountered on the site.
Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with various team members.
Must be organized, practice effective time management and understand when a strong sense of urgency is required.
Ability to gain understanding of RailEurope portfolio of products and services.
Ability to understand and accommodate business needs while catering to the end user/consumer
Understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Familiarity with any CMS is a plus.Self-starter who shows initiative and has a strong inherent desire for process improvement
Bi-lingual in English and French preferred
