Technical Data Architect / expert décisionnel modélisation H/F

Our client is an Asset management and investment group looking for a Technical Data Architect / Data Engineering Architect / Data management fluent in English.

You will work in a key department that lies as the core of the company's international expansion.  

You will report to the Company developer tech lead, assisting him in implementing the company's technological roadmap especially the technical data architecture and you will have a dotted line to the functional data architect.    

You will also manage other technical data engineers.  

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of professional background, with a proven expertise in both BI and Data architectures, either on-prem or in the Cloud. 

The successful candidate will also prove a balance of business strategy understanding, client-facing consulting experience, and significant data and analytics expertise. 

The work will be rooted in the creation of innovative analytic engagements.  

Technical skills :

- 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis / Data Architectures / DWH / Data Lakes in a business setting, preferably in a client-facing consulting-oriented role 

- Passion for data, extensive knowledge in statistics or applied mathematics, experience with techniques such as Machine Learning 

- Expertise in key technologies related to Data Management : SQL, Python, Spark, C#, Cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS, etc.) 

- Expertise in some aspects of Data Management and readiness to grow in the others: 

· Data analytics architectures 

· Data governance processes and platforms 

· Data ingestion & transformation in data-warehouses or data-lakes 

· Data visualization 

Background : 

· Ideally relevant experience in Financial Services or Asset Management with strong analytical experience.

· You are self-motivated, intellectually rigorous, and curious and a well-organised team player who can make a strong contribution quickly to a rapidly growing firm that has already emerged as a recognized leader in its core activities, 

· Excellent communication skills - especially translating complex technical findings into plain language insights, 

· Management experience and demonstrated ability to develop younger talent and build a high performing team, 

· Project management and delivery expertise, 

· Passion for joining an agile team and desire to help the business grow quickly, 

· A good flexibility to balance the fast nature of the projects, process and systems upgrade with a long-term view of an industrial process is also required

Fluent in English, French is also very important but not essential.
