Our blockchain team supports promising studios in building great blockchain games for a worldwide audience of mobile users. The blockchain gaming market is thriving. By joining this team you will help us disrupt the market by creating a new segment of fun, mobile blockchain games.The team is multi-disciplinary and gathers expertise in Product, Tech and M&A. Together, they work as an entrepreneurial squad, looking to build the next hit in the mobile space.
Role
Getting Blockchain onto mobile and providing users with a seamless experience are our key current challenges.As a Senior Backend Engineer in the Voodoo Blockchain team, you'll be empowered to take ownership of our Blockchain backend that eases how studios and users are interacting with the Blockchain.You will be part of a small and high-performing team and will have the opportunity to grow your skills while delivering a new gaming experience for our users by :Profile
- Solid experience building distributed, highly scalable backend applications- Experience building gRPC & HTTP web services using Go or extensive knowledge of another similar language + PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes- Exposure to and understanding of the basic AWS cloud services like EC2. RDS, S3, DynamoDB, EKS, or equivalent services in another cloud environment- Strong communication skills, sense of ownership, and problem-solving approach- Eagerness to learn new skills and best practices- Familiarity with CI tools and processes like CircleCI and Agile development- Experience in the Gaming or Blockchain industry- Experience with 3rd parties integrations or data management topics- Experience writing unit tests with a TDD mindset- Past projects portfolio using Blockchain technologies is a strong plus- Speak and write EnglishBenefits: competitive salary, lunch vouchers, healthcare, child day care, wellness activities, unlimited vacation policy, remote days.
