Position details
The Fleet Management team is looking for a backend Senior Software Engineer/Architect to build out the backend services that are responsible for ensuring that we are efficiently dispatching missions to our vehicles.
More about the team: we are a small team (less than 10 developers) integrated with Tools, Simulation and Cloud activities, working with Agile methodologies. We have backend, frontend and fullstack backgrounds. We like pair programming, and even mob programming when we feel the need for it. It's important to us that everyone can be heard, so we value and try our best to respect the one speaking.
- Type: Full time permanent contract (CDI temps plein)
- Location: Toulouse
- Starting as soon as possible, depending on your availability.
Your future responsibilities will be:
- Design and build scalable, efficient, and robust backend services for fleet management systems (fleet monitoring, mission management, real time teleoperation, traffic management)
- Develop dispatching solutions for planning and optimization for a fleet of autonomous vehicles.
- Develop scalable and fault tolerant systems.
- Design and build clean and flexible APIs and data models for internal and external clients
- Collaborate with different teams of engineers with expertise on autonomous driving (navigation systems, perception and localisation), mapping, software infrastructure.
- Contribute to products that impact humans and their experience interacting with autonomous vehicles and work on solving real-life problems.

Profil recherché

- Degree in Computer science/Engineering
- Extensive experience on programming distributed backend services/Microservices/cloud applications.
- Experience with Elixir, Kotlin/Java, Python, REST API, Protobuf, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Working collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Passion for learning new technologies
- Fluent in English
Desirable
- Masters degree in computer science or related degree
- Experience with fleet optimization or planning/operational research
- Ability to lead through complexity
