Your future responsibilities

The position of Head of Vehicles Deployment and Projects Management is a key leadership function within the Global Field Services Team based in our Toulouse headquarters. The primary responsibility is to ensure an efficient and successful commissioning and roll-out of the company technology & projects, with high client satisfaction and controlled costs. The position has direct responsibility for the European deployment team (excl. DACH) and transverse responsibility globally to ensure that deployment processes are developed and followed across all our company entities.

The Head of Deployment will also provide valuable feedback from the team and clients to research and development teams to improve the performance of products.

As a key leader of the Field Services team, your roles will be :

Directly manage a team of 10+ deployment engineers and project managers based in Toulouse deploying
Vehicles across Western Europe and Middle East
Day to Day supervision of the team to successfully deploy new projects, including balancing workloads, team meetings, skills assessment and personnel development.
Follow up on deployment projects to assist or backup project managers where necessary,
Ensure projects and KPIs follow up and reporting towards Field Services, Products or Management
Build and enforce best practices for deployment activity across all business units globally (Europe, Middle East, North America, APAC, ANZ) including :

Enhance and improve deployment processes for long term scalability and efficiency, and help specify needs to software tools improvements,
Encourage consolidation and factorization of product authorizations processes around the globe, consolidate knowledge and build an expertise across the team,
Gather feedback from internal and external users, to improve product and vehicle performance,

Preferred experience

We are looking for:

Previous experience as team manager is required.
Previous experience in autonomous technologies and/or public transit, or an innovative fast growing market, would be a plus,
Interest in technology and ability to learn quickly company's autonomous technology
Team player with positive attitude
Strong leadership skills, with a capability to organize daily tasks
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and global environment
A commitment to knowledge, thoroughness, and customer satisfaction
Proactive and take initiative on new ideas and approaches
Good written and verbal communication skills,
Fluency in written and oral French and English
