As part of the redesign of the information system for one of our client banks, we are looking for : Senior C#/Java Developer to work on a new C# architecture, the candidate must also willing to do some maintenance on the legacy codebase written in Java ** In terms of architecture the system is split in 2 parts: 1. The "Legacy chain" - which is a large multi-threaded batch application written in Java 8. 2. The "New chain" - consisting of smaller event driven micro-service components written in C# (.Net Core 3.1) The legacy chain is being decommissioned but it will remain in production for several years. Therefore the candidate will need C# experience to work on the new project and be willing do write Java to maintain the legacy components. On the backend, the client is primarily using Windows Server for the application servers. Data is stored in both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Databases.
