Our engineering team is growing rapidly from 5 to 20-30 people. In this context we are looking for a talented engineering manager able to become our VP of engineering. At this role you would be responsible for the development and delivery of the product.

Manage 2 to 5 development teams on core and smaller projects.

Make sure project deadlines are met

Design implementation plans of the company tech and product strategy based on the available resources

Recruit the engineering teams

Work together with the CTO to build a culture of innovation and engineering excellence within the team

Work together with the CTO to discuss the most efficient technical solutions to our business challenges and plan the implementation.

Our platform makes end users and professionals work together in perfect synergy, our developer team makes them adore the product.

You will work in close collaboration with the CTO, the dev leaders and the Product managers.

Profil recherché

We expect you to have an outstanding technical background and a demonstrated ability to manage engineering teams to build large scale high availability cloud applications.
Your experience allows you to have a good overview of such systems and to decide on your teams composition and planning to achieve the company strategy.
Still you understand that technology is not an objective but a way to get the most efficient solution to a problem and you are used to work in collaboration with the CTO and the Head of Product.
What have you done?

Managed several engineering teams during more than 3 years ideally within a SaaS start-up
Monitored teams based on high level metrics, you are able to demonstrate your team performances and measure your success building highly efficient engineering teams
Worked previously as a Software engineer or Architect for several years
Handled the recruitment of engineers with tight deadlines
Managed the collaboration between data science and development teams
Worked in a start-up fast growing and changing environment. You know how to deal with ambiguity every day and you own your projects.
Excellent communication / problem solving skills
