Numberly uses technology for marketing: we help our clients to better understand their customers by implementing systems to collect, analyse and use data. To do so, we are more than 150 engineers (a third of Numberly's talents) working into autonomous teams. Job Description

Due to our wide range of interconnected products,  our technical issues are very varied and often complex:

* processing thousands of queries per second, distributed throughout the world.
* operate multiple petabyte databases (Big Data™)
* automate our entire bare-metal infrastructure
* build tomorrow's digital marketing interfaces.

To do this, we want to use the right technologies for the right issues:

* Python 3 for our web services, our data engineering, and the automation of our infrastructure.
* MongoDB and PostgreSQL for their versatility in the use of the data
* ScyllaDB when it comes to performance
* GitLab and Kubernetes to provide the best possible development experience
but also Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, Go, and many others...

Profil recherché

Qualifications

* Strong IT culture and technical curiosity
* Thorough knowledge in at least one back-end stack
* Interest in databases, the world of open-source, and/or DevOps culture
* Good communicator, able to popularize work, defend ideas and listen to others
* Willingness to progress and to help others progress, technically (meetups, internal training) and humanly
* Good experience using Python and/or Javascript is a plus
* Daily use of Linux is very preferable but not required
* Professional English (our teams are international)
