RESPONSABILITIES

In charge of managing our platform operations,
Attached to our Digital Data department, for our “Common Digital Platform” transformation project,
You are our leader of platform operations, keeping our service quality at his best for a world class retail platform, built to be used by all worldwide business units of the group.
As Head of Operations, you structure the operations management of the platforms, handle the overall escalation of the platform, and make product feature teams autonomous on running their products.
You are key to define and monitor our service level, provide action plans to improve our quality of service.


🎯 MISSIONS

Structure the operations management of the platform, managing a team of engineers with a DevOps culture, and Site Reliability engineering principles.
As gate-keeper of our quality of service, animate the culture of ops inside the platform
Drive the transformation of the product teams to be autonomous on managing their run
Define Service levels of the platform, and help Product teams to define and actively follow their owns
Handle the escalation management process of the platform, and ensure the consistency of the operation management across all product teams
Strengthen and support our Cloud Native transformation, by driving the infrastructure strategy of the group across all product teams of the platform, from design to finops.
Following our Cloud Native Transformation, build and provide cloud architecture managed solutions to product teams
Industrialize operations and pain points fixes to improve continuously our level of service, and reduce our operations costs.
Communicate actively on the status of our platform with pragmatism, KPIs, and animate actions plans to keep our goals up.
Infuse a self-commitment data-driven culture, with strong transversal collective rituals & animations. Every team should easily drive their operations with their own health datas.

Deep knowledge in Operations management at-scale ( escalation management, troubleshooting, ITSM )
Deep knowledge of cloud ecosystem solutions ( compute, storage, network ), with particular affinity for Google Cloud Platform and its cloud services. Appreciated Knowledge in multi-cloud & hybrid cloud platforms.
Deep Knowledge of PaaS cloud managed services, particular affinity with Google Cloud Platform services.
Deep knowledge of observability and monitoring ecosystems
Deep knowledge of on-prem to cloud transformations
Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices
Knowledge of Site Reliability engineering principles and engineering quality principles
Appreciated knowledges of data environments (databases, big data)

Profil recherché

🚀 YOUR PROFILE

5-8+ years of experience managing IT operations in multi-cultural contexts ( cloud, network, application platform ), with human management of 20+ people
5+ years of experience working on SaaS platforms
Significant experiences on setup of observability toolchain and practices inside platforms and products engineering teams
Strong experiences using ITSM ( tools and practices ), in distributed ecosystems
Multiple experiences on handling cloud migration from on-premises environments. Appreciated experiences on multi-cloud transformations.
Experiences on following Reliability engineering principles, with service level definition, monitoring and correlated action plans
Multiple experiences in industrialisation/automatisation of cloud environments and security policies
Experiences on interacting with others management functions, including budget management, customer service and engineering departments
Strong experience in change management inside IT engineering teams, with performance driving.
