System Administrator (Location: Luxembourg)

You will be part of the Managed Services Architecture Team, in charge of designing the customers’ network and security services. The Infrastructure consists of:
Network Infrastructure
• The LAN in the customers’ buildings (spread over Brussels & Luxembourg)
• The connections between these buildings an international Backbone (MPLS technology)
• The interconnection with other providers with dynamic routing and VPN.
• WIFI Hotspots spread over the customers’ buildings
Security and Internet Infrastructure
• The security perimeter consists in a multi-layer infrastructure of firewalls and VPN of different vendors (Fortinet, Checkpoint, Pulsecure)
• The incoming and outgoing accesses with the external world pass through dedicated appliances working as proxies and reverse proxies (Bluecoat)
• DNS infrastructure and authentication servers are part of our domain of competences (BIND9)
A large team is working permanently on-site (Luxembourg and Brussel).
Your mission:
• Insure the efficiency of the system and the tools
• Development small script to help to automate some actions in case of events
• Participate actively in daily operation tasks (Incidents, changes)
• Participate actively in Health checks for seeking issues before they impact production (Proactive
analysis)
• Prepare and execute small projects (Releases)
• Propose and contribute to technical improvement plans
• Ensure compliance (in operations and projects)
• Insure client satisfaction
• Interact and co-operate with vendors
• Contribute actively to Teams synergy



LOCATION AND TIMING ISSUES
▪ Provision of the above mentioned services basically in Luxembourg, with a possibility to work in
Brussels about 1 day per month.
▪ Project Business hours: 7H-19H => being able to regularly start at 7AM and being able to regularly
end at 7PM
▪ Occasional interventions outside of normal working hours may be requested

Your Profile
• You have knowledge and experience (at least 5 years) of project management within at least one of
the concerned technological domains (Network infrastructure, Security)
• You own an university degree or equivalent level through experience and professional training
• You possess the ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies, capable of self-study
• In addition to your strong communication skills, you are structured, process minded and able to
maintain the high level overview
• You are fluent in English (at least B2 Level). French is considered as an asset
• You can work independently and can manage your time
• You are eager to work in a dynamic multi-national environment with a strong customer focus
• You are willing to travel in order to attend industry events and customer meetings
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS
The required level of education, knowledge, skills and experience are:

• Education : BAC +2 in computer sciences or equivalent experience
• Experience in a large production environment
• Experience in Cloud environment
Compentencies
• Experience of managing system GNU/Linux, VMWare and NAS
• Experience in automation and deployment (Ansible)
• Knowledge in monitoring tools
• Knowledge of the OSI Model and the associated protocols
• Knowledge in one or several development languages (Python, Perl)
• Knowledge of Administration of Databases (MySQL) and LDAP
• Fluent in French and technical English
