Ingénieur réseau broadcast (H/F)

Hello Alain,

As part of the Paris Network Platform team, the network engineer will have to be in alignment with this role description and the following qualifications:

Specific responsibilities include

• Effectively support and maintain all network infrastructure by responding to and resolving all trouble tickets within the stipulated SLA time - 40%

• Clearly understand the root cause of all the network outages and take remediation steps to prevent the recurrence of the problem - 10%

• Ability to prioritize work based on business criticalities and also be flexible to work on ad hoc tasks as assigned by the manager - 30%

• Fully understand and adhere to the team's network standards and procedures both in technical and functional areas - 10%

• Maintain positive relationships with all user communities, peers and the management team - 10%

• Perform other duties as needed

VPNs

• Process oriented engineer with strong execution and follow-through skills

• Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize self

• Strong and consistent customer service and communication skills

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Minimal travel anticipated for this position

• Abilities to speak and to work in an English environment

• Must have the legal right to work in France

Preferred qualifications

• Media industry experience

• Skills with Multicast protocols : PIM SSM, MVPN

• Sports/TV networking knowledge - multicast networking, distribution and contribution

• Data Center experience with spine and leaf environment

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or similar

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Network administration in a production environment

• Strong skills with at least 2 of these vendors: Juniper, Arista, Cisco, Aruba, Paloalto

• Skill with routing protocols : BGP and OSPF

• Strong skills with network protocols, standards and policies

• Understanding of network basics : load balancing, remote access, DNS, DHCP and IPAM platforms and IPSec/SSL
