Our client is part of an international group with over 1,600 employees. At the unit near Bruges, more than 250 engineers and colleagues work on the development, testing, prototyping and production of high-technology transmission systems and subsystems for high-performance, top-of-the-line vehicles.
In the test lab and production environment, they develop and produce high tech transmissions. As Software Development Engineer, you will develop, implement and validate the new software for this.
Together with your colleagues, you will write scripts for build & test automation and maintain the new framework/platform, either in TestSTand, VeriStand, LabVIEW, LabVIEW Real Time, LabVIEW FPGA and MatLab.
As Software Development Engineer, you will be part of the Instrumentation Team that is responsible for controlling and measuring test benches in the test lab and in production.

Profil recherché
About you:
*You have obtained a Bachelor or Master’s degree in mechanic or electromechanical engineering.
*As Software Development Engineer you have a good affinity with control theory and automation as well as with mechatronics.
*You understand the software structure that is used in programmes such as TestSTand, VeriStand, LabVIEW and MatLab. Knowledge of C/C++/C# are considered as a plus.
*You have demonstrable experience in the automotive industry and in a testing environment.
*You know how to work with source code control systems such as SVN or GIT.
*As Software Development Engineer you are detail oriented and well structured.
*You have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
*You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
