Description
The Research team deals with a huge amount of information to model and forecast prices, stock levels or trade flows. Under the supervision of a Senior Database Manager, your main role will be to understand the requirements of the Research team in order to design a flexible and efficient internal database. From day one, you will have the opportunity to be involved in day-to-day operations and benefit from the expertise of experienced professionals.

• Help to design and adapt the Research database
• Implement and document in-house back-end and front-end applications
• Automate processes

Profil recherché
Requirements
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Access and VBA)
• Microsoft .NET (C#, WCF and Web Services, Office APIs: VSTO, Open XML)
• Good programming and problem solving skills
• Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL and good understanding of database modelling
• Basic knowledge of version control systems (TFS, Subversion or Git)
• Basic knowledge of ETL (SSIS)
• Interest in commodities trading
• Good command of English (French is a plus)
• Motivated to learn the most recent Microsoft technologies
• Communication skills with the ability to explain detailed technical information in a clear and concise manner, to a variety of audience
• Flexible and very dynamic approach with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects at all times
• Ability to work under pressure
