Software Engineer

As a software engineer, you will be contributing to the core Lokad platform, which processes terabytes of data on a daily basis. As our platform drives billions of euros worth of inventory at any point in time, software quality matters a lot to us. We strongly believe that correctness, reliability, performance or maintainability are dominantly a matter of proper upfront software design.

You will also be contributing to the core Lokad webapp, which supports thousands of supply chain professionals. Our app features complex data visualization and data interaction capabilities. You will be routinely in touch with the Supply Chain Scientists at Lokad who are crafting bespoke solutions for our clients on top of our platform.

You will also benefit from mentoring and peer reviews.

Lokad is using C#, F#, .NET Core, Visual Studio, Git, TeamCity, Phabricator and we deploy on Linux VMs on Microsoft Azure.

Familiarity with these tools and environments is welcome but not required.

We are looking for a strong taste for software engineering and the willingness to further improve oneself. We expect great software contributions, not passable ones. Contributions to open source projects are also appreciated.

Lokad is a company created in 2008 and specialized in supply chain optimization. We help companies from different sectors (aeronautics, fashion, automotive, e-commerce...) to forecast and make decisions regarding their inventories. The majority of our clients are based outside of France, mainly in North America and Europe. Our team of about 50 people is entirely based in Paris, but composed of international profiles, mostly engineers.
